According to Afghan Pajewak News Agency, a social media tweet said: “The local health department said that dozens of injured people have been taken to the hospital.”

Earlier, the agency issued a news report that a mosque in the Haskanena area of Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan was bombed during the main day, and the explosion caused the top of the mosque to collapse. The main day is Islam Day, and believers hold religious ceremonies in the mosque every Friday afternoon.
